False Arms

Magazine Design

Context
False Arms was a conceptual magazine created as an exercise, as part of the Magazine Design Workshop, by Studio Rifle, taught at the Mr Marcell Design School in Madrid.

The Project
We were tasked to design a print version of the blog falsearms.com. The aim was to develop a concept and propose a print mock up of this popular digital blog, whilst maintaining its spirit and identity during the transition.

My role
Art direction, research,
concept, design and layout.

The Challenget
The challenge was to keep its spirit and identityfrom the screen to paper.

The Concept
1 Issue -> 1 Color
1 Color-> An emotional concept relatedto the psychology of that color.
Issue 1 - Red - Passion
Issue 2 - Blue -Dreams

This concept provides an infinite possibility of options, thereby allowing for an equally infinite number of editions to be published in the future.
